During the holiday season, the idea of home is something that feels a bit more important and special; something we slow down to think about, something to be extra grateful for. There are many parts of the world strife with political oppression and war. Refugees have been displaced from their homes and are coming to Canada to find a safer place for themselves and their families. When first arriving in Canada, many refugees don't have many personal belongings, don't have anywhere to live and don't have the financial means to start their lives here.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Canadian Down & Feather Company has partnered with Culture Link to help those in need. Culture Link is a Toronto-based, registered non-profit charity, whose mission is to facilitate the active participation and integration of newcomers and the broader community, recognizing the interdependence of these groups in our society. They provide a wide range of settlement and community programs to over 10,000 participants each year.
