Refund Policy

Products may be Exchanged or Returned for Refund within 30 days of purchase.

Certain conditions/restrictions may apply:

Goods being returned for exchange or refund must be received by CDFC no later than 30 days from the date of purchase of the item. Refunds shall be to the original form of payment and shall only be issued at the request of the original purchaser.

In order to return a product for exchange or refund to CDFC, the product must not be used. In accordance with the Ministry of Consumer Affairs’ strict health regulations, bedding products, if used even once may not be resold, and therefore may not be exchanged or returned.

All merchandise should be in original condition. Tags, labels and packaging should not be removed, torn, or discarded. Product must not be washed, soiled or damaged.

Exchanges and returns are only available on regular/current, in-stock merchandise. Goods may not be exchanged or returned for refund if they are deemed special order, clearance, custom order, demo-model, floor sample, discontinued, final sale, purchased on layaway, gift cards, and some health and personal care items.

CDFC may set certain times and dates when products that have already been purchased may not be exchanged or returned. In such case any products purchased would be granted an extended exchange/return time allowance equal to the period of time such restriction is in place. Ex. Boxing day/week.

CDFC may set certain times and dates when products that are purchased may not be returned or exchanged due to the nature of a sale. In such cases, CDFC will advertise/post such temporary changes.

Consumers returning products by courier/parcel delivery service must pay for shipping and should insure their products, as an exchange/return will only be honoured once the merchandise is received by CDFC in good condition.

Special charges are not refundable. Special charges include gift wrapping, custom work/labour, shipping/delivery, setup, cleaning/renovating, and other such charges.

Shipping charges or other special charges waived at purchase are deemed to have been charged and are not refundable in the case of an exchange or refund. Therefore, even if such charges were not originally charged at time of purchase, will be deducted from a refund or credit toward further purchases.

Goods available for exchange and/or refund under this policy shall be limited to consumer purchases made and tendered at www.canadiandownandfeather.com and do not include CDFC products that are purchased on a third party website, at a dealer, through a distributor, or from a daily deal site or other voucher/coupon based system.

Vouchers and coupons redeemed at www.canadiandownandfeather.com are specifically not eligible for refund or exchange. With respect to the purchase of the coupon or voucher, the return and refund policies of the site, partner, and/or dealer where the voucher or coupon was purchased or received shall prevail.

If a product was purchased on www.canadiandownandfeather.com within 30 days of a sale or promotion on the same website, store credit in the amount of the price difference will be issued at the customer's request.
