About This Product:

This pillow is filled with care in Canada. This is a 3-Chamber pillow. The center chamber is filled with goose feather, which provides great, resilient support. The feather core makes up about 90% of the total fill weight. The outer chambers are filled with 575 loft goose down, which adds some softness and luxury to the pillow. Down Perfect™ pillows combine the firmness of feather with the softness of down for the best of both worlds! The outer shell of this pillow is crisp 255 thread count cotton.

The Medium weight is a real crowd-pleaser, and works for front, back and side sleepers. It is firm enough for side sleeping but not so hefty that it props the head up too much for front and back sleeping. If you sleep only/primarily on your side or like a really firm and substantive pillow, go with the Firm version!

Care

This pillow should be used with a pillow case and a zippered pillow cover/protector at all times. Failure to do so will cause premature wear and invalidate the warranty. A properly covered pillow will help eliminate stains and the build up of body oils, dirt, and dust. This will also help allergy sufferers.

Take your down and feather pillow outdoors periodically and air it or place in the dryer on a low heat/cool cycle. This helps maintain its freshness, fluffiness and insulating qualities.

Prior to use, shake the pillow vigorously to help fluff up the down and feather. It will take about 1 week of use before the outer fabric softens up and the down and/or feather lofts up to its full potential.

There may be a slight odour as a result of having been stored in the packaging, but it will disappear within the first week of use.

This product should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated closet or room when not in use in order to prevent mildew growth.

Cleaning Instructions:

A properly maintained pillow should require cleaning approximately once a year, with normal use. It may be cleaned more or less often depending on use.
Your pillow is covered in 100% cotton and filled with natural down and feather. It will shrink if washed, possibly causing puckering in the stitching and loss of the filling.
Should your pillow need cleaning, have it DRY CLEANED or PROFESSIONALLY WASHED by a reputable cleaner that specializes in cleaning down and/or feather products.
DO NOT attempt to machine wash or dry clean this product yourself. If the filling stays even slightly damp, the down and/or feather will clump together and may allow mildew growth.
Small spots or stains may be removed by holding the fabric away from the filing and using warm water and mild soap. To dry, use a hair dryer on low heat.

sore neck every morning

I have given time to adapt to my new pillow, but it has been a month, and I wake up every morning with a sore neck. I did the pillow evaluation and selected the one most recommended for back & side sleepers. It does not offer support it collapses to a pancake. Sorry, I spent the money on it.

Hi Deb, Thank you for providing honest feedback. I'm so sorry to hear the pillow hasn't worked out well for you. Pillow support is highly subjective. While we try to make recommendations based on what works for most people, everyone has unique needs, preferences, and expectations. Some folks find the Firm Down Perfect Pillow way too firm, while others find it too soft. In fact, we get more positive feedback on the Medium version of this pillow! All feedback is much appreciated and validated, but it just goes to show how variable peoples' experiences can be with the same product.
We can add some fill to your pillow to increase the support level. Feel free to submit an alteration request if you'd like to go this route. However, it may not be enough, considering your feedback. All feather and down products have some 'give' to them, as they trap air, and the air is squeezed out with the weight of the head. If you need more support than a feather pillow can provide, you may want to consider a more rigid and uniform material like latex or foam.

Well made but not for me

This is a really well made pillow. It appears well-constructed and the materials feel high quality. It's really comfy when you first lie down on it. Unfortunately, it's not what my body needs in a pillow. I've tried both the Medium and Firm versions, and neither provide the amount of support I need overnight. I'm up constantly trying to re-fluff the pillow. As a side sleeper with neck pain, I need a high loft and good support in a pillow. This just didn't deliver. But if you already know this type of pillow works for you and you just want to upgrade to something more luxurious, I would recommend.

Thank you for your honest feedback, Maureen. I'm so sorry the pillow didn't work out for you. While feather does provide some support due to the springy feather quills, all down and feather products do have some 'give' to them. These materials trap air, which is squeezed out with the weight of the head. This suits some folks, but not all. If you need more rigid or uniform support, you might want to try a different fill type altogether like foam or latex. Of course, we can add some extra fill to your pillows to increase the support level, but based on your feedback, it may still not be enough. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

Perfect pillow

This is my second down perfect pillow in firm and it is perfect for side sleeping! The Feather fill keeps it plump and the down surround makes it conform nicely to the face. And these last a looong time with a good pillow protector. I even managed to clean my old one carefully and it still puffs up just as well!

This is THE MOST comfortable pillow I have ever owned! (And I’ve been through a lot!)

Comfy pillow!

This pillow is great for side sleeping. I can squish it between my neck and shoulders and it cradles my head perfectly. The only thing that would make it better is if it were a little more full. I am both a side sleeper and a back sleeper so it would be great if I had a bit more support when sleeping on my back.
