Using a duvet cover helps keep your duvet clean and protect it from wear and tear. (It also eliminates the need for a top sheet!) This duvet cover has been thoughtfully designed to complement and allow for the maximum performance and longevity of Canadian Down & Feather Company duvets.

The dimensions of the cover match those of your CDFC duvet for a precise fit. The cotton fabric is 300 thread count, single-ply, percale weave, which makes for a light, breathable material that can stand up to many washes. The lightweight fabric and gusseted design allow a down or feather duvet to loft up properly without being weighed down. Proper lofting ensures that the fill performs to its full potential.

The convenient 3-sided zipper makes this product easy to use compared to a traditional duvet cover. The anchoring corner snaps couple perfectly with duvet corner loops to keep the duvet in place. Last, but not least, this product is packaged sustainably with recyclable, biodegradable, and water-soluble materials.

This product should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated closet or room when not in use.

Cleaning Instructions:

Zip your cover fully closed before washing and drying to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
Machine wash in cold water with like colours.
Tumble dry on low heat.
Iron on low, if desired. Wrinkling is expected after washing high quality cotton products.
Do not bleach.
The following instructions are specific to Bear! To maintain the beautiful warmth and depth of your Bear cover's color, which, being black cotton, naturally tends to fade, follow these special care steps:
Wash all your Bear covers together, inside out.
Use a mild detergent specifically designed for dark colors.
Add half a cup of white vinegar to the wash, along with a tablespoon of iodized salt.
Dry inside out on the lowest possible temperature your dryer allows.

These additional measures can help set and preserve the rich, warm black color for as long as possible.

The fabric of your cover is pre-washed. You may find shrinkage of less than 5% after washing. A small amount of shrinkage will not negatively affect the fit of the product.

Crappy

Bought this two months ago. Every piece of hair sticks to it. Washed it once and its faded. Woke up today and there is a rip across it and it’s not as though I sleep with scissors or a knife to wake up with a large noticeable tear. Super disappointed for the price.

We completely understand how the look of white lint/fibers can be bothersome! It's important to note that darker fabrics tend to accentuate the look of lint and light-colored fibers/hairs more than lighter coloured fabrics.

We've reviewed the details/photos you provided, and we noticed what appears to be pet hair on the duvet cover as well as white markings under the tear. We do recommend keeping delicate items away from pets to avoid any unintended damage.

I absolutely love the three sided zipper for the duvet cover. Certainly makes life much easier! My only disappointment is the bear coloured duvet cover. Every little piece of lint and dust seems to stick to it. I have to remove them with a sticky roller. Unfortunately, this was not the best choice.
